Golden Triangle Industrial Park

The park is located in Lowndes County one mile from the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, in the heart of an area surrounded by Columbus, Starkville, and West Point. The land is vast and flat; rich and green, and known locally as "The Prairie." It is owned by the County of Lowndes and the Lowndes County Industrial Development Authority.

The Golden Triangle Industrial Park sits eight miles from Columbus on 960 pristine acres, 700 of which are currently available. All utilities are in place, including natural gas provided by Mississippi Valley Gas, electricity supplied by the Tennessee Valley Authority through distributor 4-County EPA, and a three-phase power supply on-site. Water comes from on-site deep wells, provided and maintained by Columbus Light and Water, the municipal utility. A sanitary sewer service is also on-site and an industrial sewage treatment facility is available.

The park is located within two miles of a four-lane highway built to interstate standards, U.S. 82, which connects to U.S. 45 (also built to interstate standards) within eight miles. It is one mile from the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, which is served by Northwest Airlink and Atlantic Southeast airline(Delta) with passenger and air freight service to major truck carrier terminals in Memphis, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. The Golden Triangle Industrial Park is within ten miles of a barge terminal at the Lowndes County Port on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, which connects the park to the world through the Port of Mobile, Alabama. Rail transportation is on-site via the Kansas City Southern, which connects to Burlington Northern, Columbus & Greenville, and Norfolk Southern.

Also at the Golden Triangle Industrial Park is a 57,000 square feet building ready for occupancy, with minor details to be completed according to the needs of the occupant. It sits on six acres with 50 available acres adjacent. The sturdy metal building features a ceiling eave height of 24 feet with a center height of 34 feet. Riverside Industrial Site
